So the Watercooler Wednesday crew posted a great challenge today that is super simple!
Maybe too simple....
Just simple enough that I could read the rules and whip something up real quick like.
I love it!
So here is what I came up with.
I knew to make it easier for my brain, I needed a BIG focal point. Such as font or this delicious old farm truck from Countryside (loooooooong retired). I added the sentiment from the Sale-a-bration set, What I Love.
If you know me, you know I love stamping that can be totally accomplished (and quite possibly blogged about) in under 10 minutes.
Thanks for popping in today! Have a stamptastic day!
Well, Jayme, your card is proof that simple can be totally "wow". Because that's how I would describe your card. Perhaps it only took 10 minutes from start to finish, but it works perfectly for our challenge and could be used for so many occasions---even as a masculine card. Thanks for sharing and for joining our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.
ReplyDeleteI know what you mean about 'maybe too simple ', Jayme! I always feel like I 'got away' with something on Simply Stamping cards. But yours is perfect - I love that truck. Thanks for joining the Watercooler Wednesday challenge. Deborah
ReplyDeleteJamie this is such a great card! That truck is timeless and I always regret not having added it to my collection. I agree with Heidi that your "10 minute card" is a WOW! Thanks for joining in our challenge!
ReplyDeleteGreat card Jayme! Love that truck - and now I have to dust mine off and make something. Thanks for playing along with the Watercooler Challenge.
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful Black on White Simply Stampin' card Jayme! You got the concept totally right and created a great card! It makes a great masculine card too! Way to go! Thanks for joining my challenge at Watercooler Wednesday this week!
ReplyDeleteVery Well done!
