We are getting back into the school routine and making sure we are starting off strong! My son started 7th (!!!!) grade and my daughter is still home with me, and she is equally as busy!
I've been crafting, just again, doing a terrible job at keeping up with my blog. Sigh... wonder if there is a better way? I'll think on it!
In the meantime, we have a new challenge at Try Stampin' on Tuesday! It's a great layout featuring embossing as the optional technique. I love the texture or the elegance that embossing (either heat or dry) brings to a card.
Here is what I came up with:
I actually did zero stamping for this card. A while ago, when I got the "Thoughtful Branches" bundle I played with the set, then set the few images aside. When I put this card together, I thought, I'll just use that! Trimmed it up and plopped her right on there! Simple! So, remember that when you are playing with images, is to save them! You never know when you might actually be able to use them!
Supplies: (All SU unless otherwise noted)
Crumb Cake Cardstock, Red striped cardstock (a non SU scrap that I held onto), Always Artichoke CS, Thoughtful Branches bundle, Argyle Embossing Folder, Cherry Cobbler Seam Binding, Early Espresso CS.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you enjoyed today's card!! Have a stamptastic day!
