Birthday Goodness for WWC60!

Good morning!

In our house, it seems like all the holidays happen for months in a row. Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years, then it's my birthday in January, my son's in Feb (Valentines, actually), and then my daughter and husband within days of each other in March. Then Easter.

Then nothing.

Pfew.

It's like a constant celebration over here, that I have a terrible time keeping up with. I mean, just the other day I found a birthday present for my daughter! (It was hidden in a package to save for her birthday, that I forgot about. errr...

Once Easter is past, we are free and clear! Don't get me wrong, I love celebrations, but it seems like we spend 6 months preparing for the next event and never get a head or they become the next gift opportunity. Which means I need to get Easter stuff....

So, in my late-as-usual style, I made this for my daughter's birthday, showed her, and she went on her way (She just turned 4 and while she clearly loves my cards, she was too busy this particular day apparently) And it's perfect for the current Watercooler Wednesday challenge

I don't know why it takes 6 months (give or take....)  for new products to appeal to me, but now I am obsessed with all things birthday balloons! And birthday! I think I just purchased all the birthday stuff in the catalog because my other birthday offerings were just sentiments or really old.

And not balloons. :)

Thanks for stopping by! Have a stamptastic day!!

  1. Hi, Jayme, at four, cards that don't rattle or explode or aren't edible are only worth a quick look before you wander off to check out something more important (or interesting). For those of us who aren't four, your card is gorgeous and worth a second look. Love those balloons and the bling. Love the story behind the card. Thanks so much for sharing both on our Watercooler Wednesday Challenge this week.

  2. I so hear you on this! DD is 12 and this is one of the first years that Easter didn't sneak up on me. Actually got it ready ahead of time, now if I can just find it... Great job on the card and I also have a hard time with the excitement of all things new sometimes. Great to see other's work and then find your groove. Happy Easter!

  3. One of these days I'll be back on top of things. I used to be really good with my older son, but had the opportunity of him being gone at school, so I could shop in peace. Not so much with my wee-sidekick in tow!

Thanks for the kind comments! Happy Easter to you both!!

  5. Thanks Gail! I tend to gravitate toward the dark purples. It took a lot to use wisteria wonder, but glad I did!
