Quickie Case!

Good morning!

I'm really feeling springy as of late. It's been warm (40's) in Alaska and it's really getting me excited for flowers and bright colors! (besides the sun reflecting off the snow blinding me as it is right now--must take in ALL the vitamin D!)

Today I needed a little quickie thank you card for a retired stamp set that I sold online. I decided I wanted to use this little cute stamp from the Sale-a-bration catalog (Pg 7), but didn't want to layer.

I was feeling lazy, but adventurous enough to move forward. Ever have those days?

So I busted out the painters tape and created a border around the card so make it look layered without actually layering. In hindsight, it would've been easier just to layer, but again, adventurous!

Here's what I came up with:

I fixed the crooked tag after the photo ;)

I think I executed this triple-step stamp well. I'll have to figure out just how to properly layer, but I like it! I didn't use 2 different colors like in the flyer.

Supplies:
Paper: Crumb Cake, Whisper White
Ink: Lost Lagoon, Wild Wasabi
Stamp: What I Love (SAB)
Accessories: 3x3 envelope (not pictured), Everday Chic designer washi tape.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a blindingly stamptastic day!!
